Grains

Your dog’s food should contain anywhere from 30%-70% of carbs. Keep in mind that dogs are omnivore, so they process carbs as a source of energy. Fiber can also be used to keep Fido regular and help keep him feeling fuller, which can prevent obesity.

Protein

Protein is a very important ingredient because it helps build strong muscle and repair tissue. Because dogs can only produce half of  amino acids on their own, the other half must come from their food.

Fatty Acids
