K-9 Kraving Dog food manufactured  in Maryland has issued a recall for their chicken patties due to a possible contamination of Salmonella and listeria.

At this moment this recall is for Maryland residents only, so If you have friends and or family members in Maryland please share this with them. This product was shipped and delivered between July 13th-17th 2015. There is no specific UPC code or lot number for this recall. The company claims they didn’t have knowledge of this until the FDA informed them that the chicken patties tested positive.

Recalled Food Symptoms

If your pet is demonstrating the following contact your vet ASAP!

  • Diarrhea or bloody diarrhea
  • Vomiting
  • Abdominal pain
  • Nausea

So far there hasn’t been a report of an illness related to the recalled food. Before disposing the product, the company ask to read the Safe handling instructions on the product so it can be done properly. You also have the option to return the product for a refund or exchange it for another product.
