Second hand smoke can be just as harmful to pets as it is to people. Research has shown that exposure to tobacco smoke causes a lot of health problems for fur babies. Cats are susceptible because of their grooming habits, the chemicals fall in your cats fur. So Mr. Kitty is literally licking cancer causing agents. A dog’s natural good sense of smell mixed with tobacco smoke will only lead to lung or nose cancer but that’s not all.
